Huge congratulations to Charlie Parkinson for winning his seat for Winsford Verdin on #Winsford town council. Great effort from you and the team. Verdin - you’ve chosen a good one. He’ll serve you well.
@CWACLibDems Andrew was a prominent Cheshire County Cllr for Hoole & Plas Newton division. When Cheshire found itself in No Overall Control, Andrew was instrumental in getting guidance in place for a joint administration. He worked so hard, led by example and encouraged so many of us.
Some very sad news today. Andrew was a Hoole councillor on Chester City Councillor from 1979 and Hoole resident. Our sincerest condolences to Gillian and his family.
I’m so so shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Andrew, Lord Stunell.Andrew was on Chester City Council and then Cheshire County Council before becoming MP for Hazel Grove. Here he is helping out during the ‘22 by-election,unblocking drains in Vicars Cross with his foot.
A little announcement: I am honoured to be chosen to stand as the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary candidate in Chester South and Eddisbury. It is an absolute privilege to be trusted in my local area to represent liberal and social democrat values.
The county’s newest MP is celebrating the completion of the 10,000th piece of casework her office has dealt with since she was elected. And it comes as Shropshire Council figures which show two-thirds of MP enquiries it receives are from her. #LDReporter

@CWaCTory @robherdch3 Interesting that you left out the part where CWAC Tories neglected to comment for the article. You aren’t willing to state your own position, but you are happy to criticise others’? Is this what Rishi meant when he talked about “grown up politics”?
