Excellent first day @ Jefferson ES. It was great to see all the children again. We had our first monarch butterfly emerge today. I believe it is a sign of a good year ahead.

Monarch watch update. We found a bunch more by the door.

We found a monarch butterfly chrysalis attached to the inside of the front school doors. How cool is this!?! We’ll need to protect this little gem for the next 4-6 weeks. Looks like we’ll be having a monarch watch for the start of school.
