@Ryanair Four hour delay from Marrakech to Malaga tonight. 46° outside, no air con due to tech problems. Passengers jumping ship, near chaos on board, but the cabin crew and pilots were superb. They made the unbearable, bearable, handled it all with care and humour, the only way!
@GLS_clientes I’ve tracked down my parcel, the delivery driver couldn’t find the address (it’s visible on Google maps) and has reported I have given an incorrect address, so the parcel has gone to GLS Centro - what do I do now?
@GLS_Spain you have a parcel of mine. Your driver called on the 8th but only said he had a parcel. I don’t speak Spanish, so he put the phone down on me and today I find he’s reported I gave an incorrect address - it’s easily located on Google maps. What do I do?
@EylonALevy The ‘judges’: ‘quick what’s the most neutral country we can pick, we must appear to be neutral’. The public: ‘let’s pick our favourite song, forget the politics’ and so it was…..
@EylonALevy You don’t need to be Jewish to stand up for Israel, you just need to be unafraid of people who will attack opinions that are not their own. There are millions of us, we’re not political but we know right from wrong. Mobilise them.
It’s a sad state of affairs when not hoodwinking workers into believing the pay rate offered, is going to be their actual pay rate, has to be explained in terms that a toddler can understand…but we got there eventually.

Susan Sarandon relishing the idea of Jews in America suffering racism because finally they might know what it feels like to be a *proper* minority - as obviously no US Jew can have possibly experienced that before - is perhaps the most Jews Don't Count thing that's ever happened.
@Baddiel Exactly how small does a group of people have to be to be classed as a minority? Maybe it’s not that Jews Don’t Count, but that each Jewish person in the world counts as 10!
@came_first@itcontracting@quantuma1@smoothaccounts Absolutely agree. HMRC has allowed non compliance to go unchecked, knowing the data it was gathering would allow it to fish out taxpayers and recover unpaid tax at some point in the future. It’s against the ethos of ‘helping people to get it right’, it’s a ‘fishnet’ mentality
@lionheart_jon@itcontracting@lionheart_jon HMRC dropped the distinction between avoidance and evasion years ago. It’s various shades of avoidance now, the organised genre leads to jail terms, but please don’t call that ‘evasion’ it’s misleading, or rather it leads people to believe there is a safe zone.
Labour Market Enforcement Strategy for 2023/24 will be submitted to ministers later this month seeking approval to publish. Builds on the four themes used for 2022/23. https://t.co/HPNgJTwPsS
@UKDirectorLME Better engagement to improve enforcement of employment rights..for agency workers employed via an umbrella company, this needs the relevant professional bodies to stamp out the offering of ‘umbrella’ rates, leaving workers to fathom out their pay rate from the Key Info Document.
@cbouzy @Ronald_Toye_III People don’t just sit and watch TUG every day, they read and digest all the information and evidence, and THEY MAKE UP THEIR OWN MINDS. Making up rubbish tweets in an attempt to censor someone, (probably anyone who doesn’t sing that woman’s praises) is pointless. Give it a rest.
@ThatUmbrella I’m with Elaine…I am sorry to say that I fell for the mainstream headlines until I came across your channel and then all the others who painstakingly joined the dots. These are for you…💐🍫
@BBCSounds It’s not that workers paid via umbrellas pay e/r and e/e NIC, their pay rates have been artificially increased and then decreased by an amount equal to the employer costs, inc holiday pay - and that’s been unlawful since April 2020! No-one seems to know it.
