Poor record shot of the Black-winged Pratincole I found this afternoon at Loch of Spiggie. 3rd Shetland record after a bird 'collected' in 1927 on Fair Isle and a long stayer at Houbie, Fetlar in 2021. T-shirt weather too!🙂

@01000011S @YeovilBirder It was on RBA too, but if you didn't know it was there it's still exciting to find a shrike... wherever and whatever one it is! I've been looking for Long-tailed but might need to downgrade to Brown!! :-) ... or stick to Red-backed!!

Found this Alpine Swift over Hunston briefly at 10.30 and then seen nearby at Chichester GPs where others had picked it up 10 minutes or so later. Seen up until around midday when flew NW. Great bird... atrocious photo!! Unsurprisingly, there are some better shots out there!
