4 November 1939 | A Dutch Jewish girl, Anne Marjorie de Vries, was born in Amsterdam.

In Sept 1944 she was deported to #Theresienstadt ghetto with her mother Berta & sister Marianne Anne. From there they were deported to #Auschwitz on 4 October. All were killed in a gas chamber.

4 November 1933 | A Dutch Jewish boy, Leopold Kattenburg, was born in Amsterdam.

In February 1944 he was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.

On May 28, 1944, he was deported to #Auschwitz. His parents and sister were murdered in the gas chambers.

Arrived at #Auschwitz on 24 May 1944 & transferred to Lenzing in November where she was liberated in May 1945.

Today she turns 96.
She has 22 grandchildren & 46 great-grandchildren (2 on the way).
