90% of Republican primary voters want to see debates in the gubernatorial primary, and @HowieCarrShow has invited us to debate live on his show. So why is @MikeMinogueABMD hiding in his barn and refusing to debate?
MISSING MIKE @MikeMinogueABMD is running wicked skahd of Jim Braude. Today "in the 27 years we've been on the air, we've never had this much difficulty getting a candidate of either party to say yes...the issue is Mr. Minogue" on why Missing Mike hasn't been guest #mapoli
Last Thursday Governor Healey stood at the State House and said ICE is not targeting public safety threats in Massachusetts. Three days later a drunk illegal immigrant drove the wrong way on Route 1 in Peabody and crashed into a state trooper's cruiser. Today ICE detained him outside the courthouse before he could even get inside. She made her argument last Thursday. ICE made theirs today...

To MA GOP candidates for governor, @MikeMinogueABMD & @ShortsleeveMA: I'm Offering you an hour to debate on my show, any agreed-upon time in June or July, heard/seen across MA.
The sooner the better.
Below latest poll numbers in race: Minogue 45, Shortsleeve 13, Undecided 40.

I accept! Let’s do one in June followed by more across every region of the Commonwealth.
One thing 90% of primary voters agree on is that we need debates! I’ll debate anytime, anywhere.
Unlike my primary opponent, I have respect for the voters and know they deserve to see us on stage at several debates across Massachusetts.
What’s @MikeMinogueABMD so afraid of?
Gov. Healey does not care about Massachusetts. She’s fighting to protect convicted illegal criminal migrants with violent records and gang affiliations, the exact people who ICE are looking for. Blocked them from getting undercover plates while cartels are offering bounties on federal agents. Spending millions of our money to fight against deporting convicted illegal criminal migrants. How does that make any of us safer?
You know what's funny? We have a government in Massachusetts that claims to be transparent, yet when 72% of us voted to audit them in November 2024, it took 568 days just to get the Senate to agree to hand over four measly documents that they are still calling unconstitutional. The same people who claim to stand for transparency are the ones calling actual transparency unconstitutional. The irony ceases to amaze me, truly.

You know what's really heartbreaking? Steve, a disabled American veteran, had to sleep on concrete outside South Station because his elevator was broken and the Boston Housing Authority wouldn't book him a single hotel room. This is the same Massachusetts that spent BILLIONS on hotels for illegal migrants. Governor Healey's Massachusetts finds assistance for everyone except the people who actually gave everything for this country.

And this is one of the many reasons why Brian Shortsleeve (@ShortsleeveMA) is running. He will cut our income tax so we have more money to afford rent, streamline permitting so new housing gets built faster, and cut the costly building regulations that make construction so expensive in the first place. Massachusetts housing didn't get this expensive by accident. And it won't get better without a governor willing to fix it.
Boston renters are paying some of the highest prices in America.
📍 Typical rent: $3,184/month
💵 Income needed to afford it: $127,355/year
🏡 About 1 in 3 Boston rental listings now come with concessions
This is a disgrace.
Maura Healey and Michelle Wu are giving free needles to drug addicts, illegal immigrants apartments, and violent criminals parole but they can’t prioritize a veteran who’s given everything to this country?
When I’m governor, we’re getting our priorities straight. Veterans first. #mapoli #magov
The recent overtime theft scandal at MassDOT proves what I've been saying for years: If you look for fraud in state government you'll find it. If you don't look, you won't. Maura Healey's not looking.
That's why I'm announcing my new Transportation Transparency Plan. Massachusetts taxpayers are working too hard to have their money treated like monopoly money by bureaucrats who know nobody is watching.
The Transportation Transparency Plan includes:
AUDITS AND OVERSIGHT
• Require regular independent audits of major transportation projects
• Audit procurement and bidding practices across transportation agencies
• Increase financial oversight and public accountability standards
STRENGTHEN COMPETITIVE BIDDING
• Publish scoring criteria for all contract awards
• Publicly disclose all bidders and bid amounts
• Limit no-bid contracts except in true emergency situations
PROJECT COMMUNICATION AND ACCOUNTABILITY
• Provide weekly online updates for major transportation projects
• Publish project timelines with milestones and explanations for delays
• Create public scorecards tracking road and bridge repair progress
• Create public scorecards measuring pothole repair turnaround times
ANTI-WASTE AND ETHICS REFORMS
• Increase disclosure requirements for lobbyist meetings
• Expand transparency requirements involving contractors and bidders
• Strengthen revolving door restrictions between regulators and contractors
• Require public disclosure of consultant spending
• Penalize contractors responsible for major delays
• Publicly track project change orders and cost overruns
PUBLIC PROJECT TRACKER
Every transportation project funded with gas tax dollars would include a publicly accessible online page displaying:
• Original project cost estimate
• Current project cost
• Contractor information
• Construction timeline
• Delays and explanations
• Before-and-after project photos
GAS TAX TRANSPARENCY DASHBOARD
The plan would also establish a live online “Gas Tax Transparency Dashboard” allowing taxpayers to see:
• Total gas tax revenue collected each month
• How much revenue comes from each region of Massachusetts
• Exactly where transportation dollars are being spent
• Administrative overhead costs
• Road, bridge, and sidewalk funding allocations
• Project status updates and completion dates
This plan is about restoring trust and ending the culture of waste and complacency that has taken hold under one-party rule on Beacon Hill. #mapoli #magov
While cartels are publicly offering bounties to identify ICE agents and their families, Governor Healey is barring them from getting undercover license plates in Massachusetts. She is making it easier for criminals to find the very people risking their lives to keep us safe. She's spent millions of our tax dollars defending criminal illegal immigrants from deportation. If this isn't a public safety crisis, what is?
#NEW: While announcing new guidelines for illegal immigrants in #Massachusetts to avoid @ICEgov agents, @MassGovernor Maura Healey went on a lengthy rant against the agency and the #Trump administration after I read the latest @EROBoston arrests to her, which includes statutory rape, narcotics trafficking, assault and other charges. This as Healey frequently states that ICE is not arresting violent criminals as promised, but rather people with no criminal history.
#Massachusetts #ICE #Healey #Trump #politics #mapoli
Funny how Governor Healey found the audacity today to demand the White House release the names of illegal immigrants detained by ICE but has said absolutely nothing about forking over the SNAP data that federal investigators need to uncover the billion dollars in fraud happening right here in Massachusetts. Demand transparency from everyone. Provide it to no one. That's the Healey way.
1 in 3 Massachusetts residents are thinking about leaving the state. Many of them are seniors on fixed incomes being priced out of towns they spent their whole lives in. Property taxes keep climbing. Relief never comes. Governor Healey has no answer for them. Brian Shortsleeve (@ShortsleeveMA) does. Increase senior property tax exemptions so longtime residents can afford to remain in the towns they love. Massachusetts should be a place you grow old. Not a place you escape.
We already pay tolls on the Pike to get into Boston. Mayor Wu wants to add a congestion charge on top of that. On top of our gas tax. On top of paying some of the most expensive housing costs in the country. On top of the highest electric bills in the continental United States. Governor Healey is staying quiet and doing absolutely nothing. Who else is tired of always footing the bill for programs riddled in fraud that never seem to benefit us?
Massachusetts families are getting squeezed from every direction: gas, fees, inspections, taxes, tolls, and the cost of just getting to work.
My Driving Down Costs Plan does something Beacon Hill forgot how to do: make life more affordable instead of more expensive.
If you’re ready to drive down costs and put working families first, chip in today and help us take this message to every corner of Massachusetts: https://t.co/lUh9EZJHi8
There’s up to $1700 on the table for Massachusetts families to choose the school that’s right for their child. Governor Healey has yet to make a decision. Boston’s already cut 260 teachers, half of Massachusetts school districts are struggling, and MCAS scores were described as “grim” in 2025. The choice is obvious.

44 convicted murderers are free today because of Governor Healey’s parole board. People sentenced to life without parole. Never supposed to leave prison. Gone. 210 more cases are still eligible and the board is approving almost all of them. Victims’ families are being ignored and she has said almost nothing. This is the public safety record she is running on. Disgraceful at best.
