The Knicks' Jalen Brunson is joining the New York-based @justsalad as a partner and equity owner. The NBA Finals MVP has been in talks with the chain since early last year. Brunson will be "embedded in the business." Just Salad is a fast-growing, 125-unit salad brand.
Several athletes have taken stakes in growth brands as an alternative to straight marketing deals, including Shaquille O'Neal, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, etc. Potentially leads to bigger rewards down the line, but there are some definite risks.

Yeah man I’m ngl your job in the league only exists because of analytics. You think a 6’4 wing that can’t shoot is getting featured unless the “analytics” say you’re helping the team? Fuck outta here

The New York Knicks title deserves an asterisk.

Josh Hart:
"Everybody wants to be the guy that scores the most, that puts the ball in the basket and that's not everybody's path. That wasn't my path and sometimes that's a tough pill to swallow but when you embrace that when you're a star in your role and you take pride in doing the little things that breeds winning basketball. For me as embraced as I was in this city wearing this jersey that sacrifice was easy. Some days it was tough don't get me wrong but you sacrifice for moments like this"
