My success as a not for profit had me a target for trolls and online bullying from other organisations

April 2020 - We were doing a show through lockdown called ‘let’s go cook’

You decided our ingredients and we made what we could from those. It was fun to keep kids entertained and give them some easy ideas to help you in the kitchen.

March 2020 - this is when we started to be affected by COVID-19 and it’s powerful changes to the entire world.

Quite happy that we pulled out of our shop, but now with spare time on our hands so in partnership with The Thrive Project, we started cooking for homeless.

In early February of 2020 I found, viewed and completed paperwork to rent an old sandwich shop on Winner Street in Paignton.

The excitement was unreal!

We got down to the nutty gritty, the building was listed and didn’t allow us to have an extractor fan so we pulled out 😞

In January 2020 I dug out plans I designed when I was in the homeless shelter with my kids back in November 2018.

I adjusted the plans to suit a smaller venue and started looked for rent a small shop in my town to make a cooking venue for children and families on low income.
