The primary reason for a lot of stuff being different in the MCU is because Disney didn’t have ownership of Spider-man, Fantastic Four and the mutants. They now own FF and mutants and are allowed to have Spider-Man appear in their movies. I think they will revert back to a lot of the comic based origins and story lines once they reboot after Secret Wars. Sony is smart enough to see how much better their movies are when they allow Disney to have some say in how Spider-man ties into the main MCU versus the disasters when they do their own universe.
@AcunaEnjoyerr@MHIIisKing If Kim was involved in any trade he would basically just have to be a throw in and we would cover the vast majority of his remaining salary. That or we swap bad contracts for another player that we think we can improve with a change of scenery.
@MHIIisKing Gray and Ryan would be my top two SP targets. Luis Arraez if he could play LF. But since he can’t, my backup plan for a bat would be Mike Trout and that’s only if the Angels covered half of his remaining salary, which they won’t.
He’s the director of the DoDC. Just because he is present doesn’t mean there will be mutants in this movie. Sometimes it’s nice to introduce a character like Metzger to help build up to a plot in a later project like after Secret Wars when mutants will have a heavy presence in the MCU. That way they don’t have to waste a lot of time with his backstory.
