It...isn't a fault of the genre.

Otome games are typically visual novels meant to appeal to women; They're usually dating sims, but there's no rule saying they have to be. They're usually pretty cute and light hearted.

It’s not easy, especially when there are a lot of style types to choose from. I know you’re usually supposed to pick based on the target but I go with what I like.

It’s a different type of breath of fresh air from most things. Plus, who doesn’t like a cute story or mystery. Hehe. There are all sorts of types. The ones that let me dress up for dates are the best.

Oh, that being my first thought wasn't related to the games themselves. I'm just used to people here making things stressful. Yeah, I don't dislike those kinds of things; It can be refreshing to play from time to time.

Not sure why that’s your first thought. Some of them have fun storylines. I like it when there are mini games involved too. The last one I played had one where you had to make cute Valentine’s Day chocolate.
