The Mukubu Clinic in Buhera is a modern facility serving a previously disadvantaged area.
It was our great pleasure to partner with the community to ensure completion of the project they had embarked on.
Today Manicaland Minister of State Advocate Misheck Mugadza commissioned the Sabi Star funded Mukubu Rural Health Center.
The community driven construction project was completed at a cost of US$220 000.

Pick up litter
Together with China Railway Group 10 and Shandong Energies, we played our part on November 1 National Clean-up Day, and we take care of our surrounding every day.
What else can we do to keep our country clean, free of diseases and avoid pollution?
On National Clean-up Day, together with China Railway Group No 10 and Shandong Energies, we conducted a clean-up exercise at our Thermal Power Plant at 06:30hrs in the morning.
How are you playing your part in taking care of our environment?
We religiously participate in the Presidential Declaration for the national Clean-up. This month, we picked litter at the employee accommodation camp. The clean-up campaign was led by the SHE Manager – Mr. Renias Zireva who addressed participants employees and contractors.
In China, the month of June is observed as National Safety Month (NSM), an annual initiative to raise awareness and promote safety within workplaces. In observing the NSM, our general manager Mr Xu Hui said safety is the most important aspect to achieve peak results on production
Super proud of our history-making team that participated in the North Zone First Aid competition for the first time. This years’ edition was hosted by Pan African Mining and Ever Rising Resources at Borrowdale Country Club.
Keeping our environs clean
We observed the National Clean-up Day by picking litter at our Eastern Gate. The participants included Sabi employees, cleaning services contractor’s employees and haulage truck drivers.
The campaign was led by the SHE department.
We donated an assortment of 66 balls to a total of 11 schools this month. Each school received 6 balls (2 soccer balls, 2 volleyballs and 2 netballs.) Sabi Star Mine wants to keep the youth occupied to fight drug abuse which has become rampant amongst Zimbabwean youths.
Last month we joined the rest of the world to commemorate World Day for Safety and Health in Mutare. Marching and procession was conducted in the Mutare CBD.
Towards a cleaner and hygienic environment we donated 87 fabricated metal litter bins to nearby schools (17), clinics (4) and business centres (8). Each station got 3 metal bins. Through the litter bins projects, we seek to play a crucial role in maintaining clean environments.
To observe the National Clean-Up Day, set for the first Friday of every month, we picked up litter at our Thermal Power Station. A clean environment is our collective responsibility!
We were delighted to host a team of 38 students and two lecturers at our world class lithium project. Students were drawn from Metallurgical Assaying final year class of ZSM. We are eager to play our part in human capital development of Zimbabwe.
