The only time Islam makes sense to some people is when they see Muslims taking alcohol, participating in idolatry and all sorts of fitnas. But when it comes to allowing Muslim women wear hijab and dress modestly, it becomes a religion of extremism and anybody who wants to wear hijab should do it in their homes.
You are talking about the Land Use Act as if it didn’t offer the same benefit to all states equally. If you read the second source, it explained to you how Ogun State leveraged on the Land Use Act to apportion state lands for agriculture and industrial purposes. That’s leadership!
You are doing everything to undermine the deliberate planning and effort of Ogun State while the rest of Nigeria sat back relying on FAAC.
More recently, when the Governor was traveling around to various investment summits, wooing investors and giving updates, all of you mocked him for wasting money. Today, you’re dismissing the effort with some archaic act.
Rivers State is the Lagos of the SS/SE, how come the states bordering them haven’t used the proximity to their advantage?
Nigeria has 7 active ports, only 3 are in the SW (Lagos), the remaining 4 are in the SS.
The very first port in Nigeria was the Port Harcourt port.
Warri and Calabar Port became operational just before and after the Land Use Act. Why didn’t the states surrounding them take advantage of proximity?
The Onne port became operational in 1986. Imo and Abia state share borders with Rivers. Why didn’t/haven’t the people around take advantage of the proximity?
I get your point my brother. I am sure you of all people know and can testify that I am a die-hard loyalist of academic excellence and celebration of intellectualism, in deserving proportion. So, I am not someone that will elevate someone like Portable above notable intellectuals simply because he’s wealthy.
Moreso, intelligence is fundamentally relative, rather than an absolute or fixed measurement. It varies across several contexts, including how we measure it and how we define it.
My main concern on this is the seemingly coordinated cyber attacks on Peller and his partner, at the slightest opportunity. You would think they have done something unforgivable that is making them easy targets for cyber-bullies.

NIGERIAN ARMY UNVEILS STRATEGIC WARGAMING CENTRE TO ENHANCE TRAINING, NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, has unveiled another state-of-the-art Wargaming Centre at the Army War College Nigeria (AWCN), Asokoro, Abuja, in a significant step toward strengthening strategic planning, operational analysis and informed decision-making in addressing contemporary and emerging security challenges.
The commissioning ceremony, held on 25 June 2026, underscores the Nigerian Army’s unwavering commitment to building a highly professional, adaptive and cimbat-ready force capable of effectively contributing to national security and defence objectives.
In his remarks, the COAS described the facility as a major investment in professional military education and institutional capacity development. He emphasized that the increasingly complex and dynamic security environment demands commanders who are not only courageous on the battlefield but also intellectually agile, strategically minded and capable of making sound decisions under pressure. He noted that wargaming remains a critical tool for developing such competencies, as it enables military leaders to anticipate threats, evaluate options and formulate effective responses to complex security scenarios before they arise.
Lieutenant General Shaibu further stated that the Wargaming Centre will serve as a strategic hub for developing innovative solutions to national security challenges by providing a platform for rigorous analysis, operational experimentation, and joint planning. He acknowledged the contributions of his predecessors, whose foresight and commitment laid the foundation for the realization of the project. He commended the Commandant of AWCN and members of the faculty for proactively acquiring advanced wargaming expertise through engagements with allied military institutions, even prior to the completion of the facility.
Earlier, in his welcome address, the Commandant AWCN, Major General Umar Alkali, expressed profound appreciation to the COAS for his unwavering support toward the completion and equipping of the Centre with modern wargaming infrastructure. He stated that the facility will provide a realistic and intellectually stimulating environment where participants can test campaign plans, evaluate force employment concepts, explore alternative courses of action and assess the implications of strategic decisions through both manual and computer-assisted wargames.
He further explained that the Centre will facilitate the integration of land, maritime, air, cyber and information domains into joint operational scenarios, thereby enhancing interoperability and jointness within the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
The Commandant added that, beyond training and education, the Wargaming Centre is designed to support doctrine development, concept validation, operational research, and strategic-level analysis. The newly commissioned facility comprises two large wargaming halls, four exercise rooms, three theatre laboratories, ten syndicate rooms, a conference room, a library, a digital server room and other supporting infrastructure.
As a centre of excellence, the facility is expected to significantly enhance the Nigerian Army’s ability to anticipate future threats, develop effective response options, and contribute meaningfully to the attainment of Nigeria’s national security objectives.

If you see THEM writing against State Police vehemently especially from areas where terrorism and banditry have been a recurring factor since 2013, there's only one thing it implies....The fear that sponsoring terrorists beyond your State will now be very hard.
With State Police in place, if you like sponsor more terrorists and bandits, allow marauders in your forest, that's your problem, the indigenes recruited into State Police in each State will have more understanding on how to eradicate crime....
Answer is Senator Ifeanyi Uba
The lesson there is simple
The Capital Oil boss went to the UK for his son's graduation, had a cardiac arrest, was rushed to the hospital and died.
But on this same bird app, somebody's best friend died 🙃 because he had a heart attack in Nigeria.
These are the arguments that delayed PIA for over 20 years.
These are the same arguments that delayed subsidy removal for over 20 years.
Same arguments that delayed the passage of the electricity act.
These arguments against state police are as valid to the extent of our bias.
No bill is perfect. No bill answers all the questions or takes care of all the problems.
A bill must at the very least show progress and for me that is the only thing that matters.
Lmao, "5,876 c@nn0n f0dd£rs"?
Only a $p!n£le$$, keyboard w@rrior civilian m@gg0t like you would look at brave young Nigerians who just stepped up to defend this country and call them c@nn0n f0dd£r.
You, who has never carried a rifle, never slept in the bush, never faced real danger hiding behind your phone with your soft hands and w£@ker $p!ne have the audacity to disrespect soldiers who chose service over c0w@rd!ce like yours.
These are not c@nn0n f0dd£r. These are the men who will be out there bl££d!ng so your u$€l€$$ bl00dline can continue sleeping in safety.
Go and hug tr@nsf0rm£r, you p@th£t!c £xcu$e for a man. The only f0dd£r here is whatever is left of your d!gn!ty.
You are not ready for talks. You are ready for d£@th. And I promise you, there is no negotiation that can erase the blood you have spilled.
Turji, you have built your name on m¥rd£r. You have k!11ed soldiers. You have sl@¥ght€red civilians. You have turned communities into graveyards. And you think you can sit across a table and negotiate? NOooooooooooooooo.
There will be no talks. There will be no amnesty. There will be no peace deal.
What awaits you is the same fate you have delivered to others: a bullet, a grave, and a legacy of shame. The soldiers you k!11ed in that recent IED blast will not be forgotten. And those of us still standing will ensure that your reign of t£rr0r ends quickly and permanently.
You talk about war? Good. War is what you will get. The military is not coming to negotiate. They are coming to hunt. They are coming to neutralise. They are coming to put you where you belong: six feet under.
Turji, you are not a king. You are a cr!m!nal. And cr!m!nals do not get seats at the table. They get handcuffs or body bags.
Enjoy what is left of your freedom. Because it is running out.
If you can’t match their level of excellence, accuse them of “tribalism” and “Yoruba tax”.
Present yourself as a victim. Rinse and repeat. 🔁
This is a characteristic of the textbook Olófo tón bínú ológo.
Funny how if a Yoruba person made this exact claim about another ethnic group, people like you would call it jealousy, insecurity, or an inability to compete.
If your work is truly good, it will speak for itself. Blaming an entire ethnic group for your career challenges is just tribalism dressed up as analysis.
Two months later, after these eggs finished in the house, Hajia's review:
"The eggs you sent home have finally finished. Best eggs we have ever had in the house. They never spoiled, even when we traveled home for ileya. Maybe they didn't apply chemicals? Totally different from the ones we buy in supermarkets. Please order from same source"
