@LeadingReport Would be helpful if they link the article. When you look it up, it was for a local Mayor election in Texas, NOT the Presidential election. How about we do our research before we respond to baseless headlines by media ๐
@wis10 Heartbroken is an understatement. He was so incredibly talented and a great husband and father. He will be missed by many. Guess I know what I'll be watching this weekend. #WakandaForever#RipChadwickBosman
@wis10 Her last statement "..not to see color." is a bigger problem as well. We should NOT be teaching kids to not see color. Instead we should be teaching them to value and appreciate differences and diversity.
@LaurieBecker3k@OFB2020@wis10 Thats dependent on the district. "A lot" of parents I've talked to plan to keep their kids home- homeschool or enroll them in a K-12 online school. I think it depends on their needs and ability. Some can't keep kids home due to work while others have flexibility to keep them home
@thegrilldog@wis10 Virtual is actually a lot more work for teachers than in person teaching. Stating to pay them less is pure ignorance to the work they do.
@TysonWa84392685 @wis10 You're right, it probably won't. Black on black crime is an issue, and at the same time so is white on white,Hispanic on Hispanic, etc. The BLM movement and protests are around police killing blacks at a higher level. Those who are supposed to protect, are not obeying their oath.
Thousands of Americans are calling for greater opportunity and meaningful change. Expanding @NationalService can provide opportunities for people of all backgrounds to serve their communities while earning money for college and vital skills for the future. #CORPSAct
Persistent inequities in access to food, education, and health care have only been exacerbated by COVID-19. The #CORPSAct will scale up our locally driven @NationalService programs to help uplift people and communities as we rebuild and recover.
Bobby Richards was so inspired by City Yearโs mission to support student and school success that he left his job in finance to serve with @CityYear MKE. Read his inspiring story and consider whether a #gapyear with us could be right for you https://t.co/dHFf2fuHmt
Service has the power to strengthen our communities in times of need. This global pandemic is no different. Now is the time to expand programs like AmeriCorps so they can further strengthen our response and recovery amid COVID-19. #CORPSAct

In recognition of the deep pain that Black Americans everywhere are experiencing related to continued racial violence and systemic racism, we are postponing two events scheduled for June 2: Strong Circle Day and the National Virtual Graduation Celebration.
City Year condemns the killing of George Floyd. We join with voices that are demanding justice, and we stand with members of our community who are personally impacted by this violence, including the young people we support in schools. Full statement: https://t.co/VmuYyhxLCx
