🏛️ Today, the Czernin Palace hosted the opening of the annual meeting of Czech ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions. The event was inaugurated with addresses by Prime Minister @AndrejBabis and Foreign Minister @petr_macinka.

🇨🇿 Over the coming days, Czech diplomats will gather to discuss the country's foreign policy priorities and the key international challenges ahead.

Did you know? 🇨🇿The Czech Republic boasts a vibrant, 120-year 📽️🎞️filmmaking tradition rooted in world-class infrastructure - like the Barrandov Studios, founded in 1933.
The next 🇪🇺European Film Festival in 🇯🇴Jordan will be held from September 11 to October 1, 2026.
CdA a.i. Tereza Valášková met with Mr. Raja Ghargour, Director of the Royal Heritage Directorate of the Royal Heritage Court, and his team from the 🇯🇴 Royal Film Commission to discuss this year's 🇨🇿 Czech participation and further collaboration between the 🎥🎬filmmaking industries of both countries.

Mrs. Hiba Qaddoumi, a professional designer at ‘Home Workshop’, presented to CdA a.i. Tereza Valášková creative home workshops and popular hands-on craft classes to help groom local talent. Mrs. Qaddoumi organises training sessions for women, teaching them how to craft a vast range of products, from pottery and mosaic-making to jewelry design.
They both discussed how to boost women's empowerment through new innovative skills in design, marketing and e-commerce. The aim is to boost the sustainability of community centers in disadvantaged locations with low female employment.
They explored how 🇨🇿CzechAid could possibly step up to boost the financial sustainability of such workshops and incentivise female skills training - all the way from ‘learning’ to ‘earning’ 🇨🇿🫶🇯🇴

CdA a.i. Tereza Valášková met Dr. Karim Khalidi and his team at Al Khalidi Hospital🇯🇴 in preparation for the upcoming #MEDEVAC project. 🇨🇿MEDEVAC brings many years of experience and the excellence of 🇨🇿Czech medical doctors🩺 to 🇯🇴Jordan. Under the umbrella of MEDEVAC, they have performed more than 200 surgeries per year for more than one decade. Recently the focus has been on ophthalmology, restoring vision to people in need and bringing hope to many more 🇨🇿🫶🇯🇴
