2. Slavery in Japan, Africa intra-tribal wars, etc, weren't based on solely on skin color. US slavery was.

Racism is a belief a race is superior & because it's a system (hence the "ism" ending denoting it's a system), using those superior beliefs to support the system e.g. slavery, Jim Crow.

This was months prior to Trump being indicted on classified records

Why does it matter?

DoJ was investigating Trump, and Biden didn't want any bad press to distract from Trump's imminent indictment.
