Oh, don’t get me started. Gas prices are completely out of control right now. I paid $4.17 a gallon the other day, and at this point, I’ve trained myself to refill at half a tank, just so it doesn’t feel quite as painful. Letting it drop to empty, and watching the total climb, is something I absolutely refuse to deal with anymore.
@RandyGoat I was iffy on that one, so I didn’t add them.
Of course, always of a chance of me being totally off on intuition.
I guess, we shall see.
Cheers, Mate! ⚽️
Clear Top Favorites (Strongest chances)
• France (+180) Heavy favorite. Dominant run, star players like Mbappé in top form, and already through to semis. Many see them as the team to beat.
• Spain (+360–370) Excellent defensively and in control of matches. Strong contender for the title.
• Argentina (+390–400) Defending champions with Messi still delivering. Always dangerous in knockouts.
• England (+460–470) Solid squad, good depth, and a realistic shot at their first title since 1966.
Good Luck to all teams. 🫶
Cheers, Mates! ⚽️

@dpatrikarakos My prediction is France is the winner.
Speaking of France and others….
Now, what’s going on with Mbappé?
- said something about this right leg?
Then we have England defender out for the match?
- Red Card?
If you paid attention to how France moved the ball around the pitch, their coordination was next-level, they were completely synced. They never let the pressure rattle them. By the 10-minute mark, they were already set up for a ‘kick-about or lead by three’ situation.
It wasn’t a question of if France would win… it was only a question of by how much.
Which was followed by…. My daughter seems to have overlooked her rightful profession. Evidently, she was destined for comedy, though she insists on squandering her wit in academia. One can only conclude that genetics have staged a quiet coup.

Cheers, Mate!
France 2-0 my call… unless you can convince me otherwise with that legendary wit of yours? 🫶😉

@HeidiBriones Omg! Complaining about a yellow card that was deserved ?? The sun a
Has gotten to #Morocco ‘s head.
Come on now!
This isn’t kickball, or your practice matches, or even practice time.
This is the real thing!
Stop acting like boys.
@0xErod@FOXSports Not to mention, Yassine Bounou had too much time to read Mbappé.
• The lengthy VAR review gave Yassine Bounou extra seconds to study Mbappé’s run-up before the penalty save.
I agree.
To back it up, that noticeable lag during the VAR check on such an obvious penalty already felt off. Then you’ve got the classic referee nitpick vibe the “ref didn’t like the position of the ball” energy (or whatever the exact phrase is). It has that subtext/precedent of officials dragging things out and subtly shaping the moment. Shady as hell on one of the clearest pens you’ll see….
