Many people seem to be struggling with their assurances of salvation lately.

I get it. I used to struggle a lot with that, too. Relentlessly.

In fact, towards the end of my junior year in high school, I became absolutely convinced that I had lost my salvation, that God hated me, and I was going to hell.

Thankfully, I was wrong, and God kept me. (I don't actually believe it's possible to lose salvation, either; I believe that anyone who is genuinely saved, even should they walk away, will be reliably and without-fail brought back by Jesus as we see in so many of Christ's parables about those who wander.)

Anyway, something that I now rest in is this; faith alone. Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

The only question you need to really ask yourself is this; do you want to belong to Christ?

If that is truly the yearning of your heart, then it is so. Christ has promised it.

The verses that Christ brings up about people saying "Lord, Lord," or "even the demons believe" aren't for you. Christ's response to these people is, "I never knew you."

They took their own works as assurance of their salvation. (Didn't we cast out demons, etc.?)

When I get to heaven, if or when Christ should ask me why He should let me in, I know it's not because of anything I've done or am.

My only response could be, "because you love me. You have said so, and I believe you."

That is faith. That is trust. It's resting wholly in the promise that Jesus says that if you want Him to, if you ask Him to, He will take you in and you will be His.

I will repeat, if you are struggling with your salvation, I encourage you to ask yourself one single question and to rest in the answer; do you want to belong to Jesus? Do you want Him to be your Lord? Are you willing to trust what He has said He will do for all who call on His name to be saved?

Your concern about seeing a lack of fruit or good works isn't wholly irrelevant, but it's misapplied; these are instructions given to believers to discern whether to treat another as a brother or sister. They're also not statements of, "you must do these things to be saved," but rather, "if you are saved, the fruit will grow, and the fruit will be evidence of something already true for you."

However, we see that anyone that approaches Christ and claims admission to heaven based on their works is at risk of not truly knowing Him. Belief that He exists doesn't save you, and works won't save you; believing and trusting His promise to save you, does.

None of these jobs need "degrees," especially ones provided by a 4-year program.

The world has basically been funding useless degrees that were primarily created for women and were used to backfill the gender pay gap artificially.

Then if the woman gets married, those student loans are often paid off with the help of the husband's income. If not, too many of them never pay their loans off in their lifetime.

You can still get these degrees; you just can't force the taxpayers to fund them. But effectively, many of these programs will shrink or disappear, as most of them existed only because of the subsidy from student loans.

Young White men have been society's punching bag for my entire life. We are the only identity group that everyone is permitted to mock, insult, denigrate, and discriminate against in both the public and private sector.

We are similtaneously the root of all the world's ills, possessing hegemonic power we unjustly obtained, and also welfare leeches holding back the rest of society from progressing into the future. We are loathed everywhere and by everyone. We have been driven out of the universities, out of the workforce, out of elite institutions, out of government, out of relationships, marriages, and families, and increasingly out of our own country.

I could easily ask, "What did we do to deserve this?" but if you're a young White man, you already know the reason. We are hated for who our ancestors were, who we are, and who we can become.

We are the last hope of a civilization hell-bent on committing suicide, and unless we recognize this fact, band together, and act accordingly, we will continue to become hated strangers in our own country.

I don’t believe fictional beings have personal human rights and I believe in freedom of speech.

I just have a grounded and consistent world view about it and other people do not.

Often, people will be okay with heinous violence against fictional beings even committed by themselves as a player… and claim it has nothing to do with them being a murderer. Then they will denounce sexual assault in fiction and say that only sexual predators would be okay with it.

They will claim this with zero evidence. Then plead for government control on it. It’s inconsistent and illogical.

Fiction is fiction, simple as.
