So this is good and all, but I want to talk about the 'what next?' bit
As someone currently homeless due to DV, it’s the what’s next bit that scares the fuck out of me.

Lounge creator and artist Kirsha Kaechle said the lounge was being ‘experienced’ by men exactly as intended – by excluding them.

Regarding AI tools and pictures of women: if you dress “modestly,” they’ll “undress” you. If you dress “revealing,” they’ll put more clothes on you. It has nothing to do with clothes or sex. It’s about taking free will away from women with technology.
Nothing says ‘celebrate the achievement of female athletes’ like inviting a male athlete who advocated against equal pay to talk about himself and the completely different sport he plays.
'We have discovered that an important group of immune cells in the large bowel are crucial to preventing bowel cancer.'
La Trobe researchers at @ONJCRI have made inroads into treating #BowelCancer, including a new roadmap to treating the disease. https://t.co/OxJZXVtdjH
Caught this on tv the other night — it’s very good. Victoria has established an Indigenous Advisory Body (or Voice) and as one elected representative says, ‘no-ones got higher taxes or had land taken away’ because of it!
Here's a clip from ABC's Voice's of Australia doing an explainer on Victoria's Voice, and how it has operated since 2019.
It's a proven system, and there is example right here in Victoria.

Feeling this rant about inherited privilege and invisible wealth as I wander through the polite mansions & townhouses of Melbourne’s inner north. https://t.co/Qabt0CZAFz
@PrydePoet @_TheCrazyBear_ @ohsnapthfc Whoa genius here sure has a lot of confidence in the justice system. Weird how only 4% of assaults result in a conviction whereas 1 in 5 women have reported it. Do the math.
@zerototom@ohsnapthfc Imagine seeing this gig live, with jokes aplenty inching toward this conclusion. Delivered with teasers and moments that break the tension - then bam. I’ve seen this live. Sloss is a skilful comedian. A nod to the power of a truth bomb and narrative arc much like Hannah Gadsby
TIL that MRI studies have found the ions travel through a migraine brain faster, and that #migraine brains have more shortcuts in neural pathways 🧠
Many people with migraine talk fast, learn fast and think fast (but then we're burdened with a short circuit every now and then).
Appealing to Australians to consider the impact of a "No" vote on the mental health of First Nations people & indeed the mental health & well being of the whole population. To say nothing about our collective sense of unity, cohesion & self respect, plus respect among all nations
@MrJackLowe Young people making bad decisions aside, retailers make outdoor gear so brittle and disposable is a problem.
We have the same access to cheap gear in Australia but this rarely happens to this degree. Organisers discourage it — you will be shamed for leaving junk behind.
