Don't have time for racists, nor for anyone still daft enough to believe brexit was a good idea.
Pro-EU. Let Love Rule πππ
@MarieRackham Apologies, Marie-Claire. When replying to ayenaybotha, I should've removed others from the conversation. I usually do if I just intend to reply to one person.
I've turned off notifications. If you & others wish to continue slagging me off, go ahead, I won't see it.
@MarieRackham @Davethemag65 @thatginamiller@CarolineLucas@Independent Thank you. As a librarian, I've been doing online searches since 1990 - yes, before the advent of the world wide web and Google - so well done you for trying to teach your granny to suck eggs. π
@rightpairoftits@GayTory@Nicoledso@CarolineLucas@bbclaurak The US economy seems to have done well under Biden. It'll be interesting to see what happens when tRump is in office and slapping tariffs on imports. His campaign promises about lowering the price of groceries - he "invented that word", you know - evaporated as soon as he won.
@daedalus254 @ZentaviusTV @PeterStefanovi2 Hard to say. My sister is the amateur genealogist and has so far only got back to about 1600. Family on dad's side are all from the West Country, so they'll have been screwed by the DoC for centuries. These days, we know what's been going on, thanks to investigative journalism.
@audreybbonbon@lscmeow@perkins_alan@clairebubblepop No. GB decided to take us out of the Dublin Agreement, so GB (aka Tory govt at the time) is punishing us. Same Tory govt also decided to take us out of Erasmus, & other programs that were on the negotiating table. This is called cutting off your nose to spite your face.
@lscmeow@audreybbonbon@perkins_alan@clairebubblepop It would be the 1st EU country if that country took fingerprints.
The asylum seeker can choose which country they make their claim in. Under DA, UK could return A.S. to the country where they made their initial claim. UK chose not to remain in DA, so can't return people to EU.
@daedalus254 @ZentaviusTV @PeterStefanovi2 I suspect you don't know what culture is, if you think it resides in people who are where they are purely by accident of birth.
@PaulSchleifer As an insomniac, I'd be happy to take a nap so long that I wake up not knowing what day it is. I wake up every two hours overnight and I'm constantly knackered. Would I swap being straight for sleeping soundly every night? You betcha! Unfortunately, neither of those is likely.
@AsdaServiceTeam I'm trying to sign up for an Asda mobile 24mth contract SIM. No matter what browser I use, I keep getting blocked by Cloudflare.
Cloudflare says to email you with details. Can't find a suitable email address.
All I want is a Β£7 pcm SIM-only deal!
@GilesMeehan I'm not just getting it on Asda, to be fair. I get it if I try to sign in to my Odeon account, for example, to buy tickets. It happens on my Android phone, and on different browsers on my Macbook.
It's doing my bleedin' head in!
I'll look into the incognito tab thing, thanks.
@Tim42941029845@ChrisyDrThomas@dave43law Which bit is the lie?
