@Uncle_b0bby The problem begins with our society, MPs are voted in or out based on 'wachitukuko' yet they are mere law makers and playing oversight role. If cllrs take this 5B for themslves we should expect over 3/4s of MPs losing their seats in 2030.
@RufaroAfrica But does that stop the envoy's from doing their work? ofcourse not!
As I said Laz and his commonwealth team are still carrying out series of meetings in Tz until the 21st
@RufaroAfrica It is always the case anywhere in the world those that feel maginalized attack those leading mediations, achina Thabo Mbeki have been criticized before in Zim and DRC by civil society but it never dainted their images. As long as it is politics pple will always find scape goats
@RufaroAfrica You are misleading yourself. The group had listed 7 reasons to commonwealth as to why the think the mediation should stop and Laz was its 6th bullet. You mawa want to believe that they are attacking him while it is them rejecting the process, just as it has been in DRC, Ethiopia
@RufaroAfrica There will always be people holding a different POV from others. The guys that wrote that letter are not even anyway close to the negotitation table. Incompetent or not, the man just like all other former presidents is on that table with Tanzanians that matter
@RufaroAfrica But Laz did not present or volunteer himself as a mediator, he was requested by commonwealth and not Tanzania. So how do you get turned down by people that didn't invite you? The letter issue by that club states already that Laz and his team are meeting officials already, not so?
@AK22_12@LAZARUSCHAKWERA Next move? broh it is just Tanzanian CDEDI making tantrums otherwise the man has been in TZ for the past 2 days leading the commonwealth group. There's no next move because that doesn't put a stop to his assignment
@Uncle_b0bby The nation's news paper front page is a testament to this, Gangata might have just waged war with a certain section that is calling the shots
@_PaulKulemeka We have governance systems in place to give power to the boards to fire incompetent CEOs especially if they are not meeting board expectations. Thereโs a reason they are not fired and it is not their performance, it is a rite, a tradition to put our own when govt changes
@ALICK_FALCONE@Brenkwi@AK22_12@MalawiGovt Forex availability depends on how much we produce and sell - export. Weโve always had trade deficits, no?
As long as we keep on pointing fingers at individuals on forex issues we shall always change leaders ndiye paja the more things keep on changing the more they remain the same
@ALICK_FALCONE@Brenkwi@AK22_12@MalawiGovt I hope you are aware that we have been having dry pumps for 2weeks now while Tanzanians were demonstrating last week.
These fuel queues are as a result of forex scarcity and not Tanzania demos
@Brenkwi@AK22_12@MalawiGovt Completely dry, people are abandoning their vehicles on fuel queues for atleast 24hrs
How can you blame a previous govt on a procurement that can always be continuous??
