Have listened to 80+ episodes of #TheMagnusArchives by @TheRustyQuill over the last week. Honestly get the archivist going a bit... twitchy, but also surprised how it's taken me this long to get into it!
Really happy to be getting started with a brand new project. Check out the our brand new actual play, starting with a serial using the #CandelaObscura system, first episode premiering June 1st!
First up, our GM
'Every story needs someone to tell it'
Callum Dinnett (he/him)
Game Master/Lightkeeper
GMing and playing TTRPG for almost 3 years, Critter since 2020, with this being his second foray into the Fairelands, playing as an investigator in another group. (1/2)
@gretchhappens @vividsketches He also talks about liking to sit at the side in the behind the set video from the start of c3 (Calls himself an aisle flyer, whilst Laura prefers the middle seat)
@GoldenHerm I must admit that a similar train of thought. Started out with thinking they just need to put him back in prison. He threatens Essek: He's got to die. Mentions Blumenthal? Destroy him so that even the Matron can't find what's left (post solstice ofc). #criticalrolespoilers
Great day at #MCMComicCon for the first time properly. Had a @CriticalRole day: came as @VoiceOfOBrien's Caleb, and meeting lots of the fantastic critter community
(Pic is of me and my friend Charlotte as fellow member of the Mighty Nein, @Marisha_Ray's Beau feat. Frumpkin)
@sherlock_hulmes @zibidiCemil @lincodega@itsginnydi@dungeon_dudes@nerdimmersion@DnD_Shorts@mattcolville Anybody who has sat in the DM's chair knows the importance of a good call to action and how things can putter out without one. That's what you and other creators gave the rest of the community.
@SafeSpaceDrWho Would've been Eccleston-Tennant but 5 year old me got so freaked out by the Empty Child, I stopped watching the show (at least regularly) until NuWho series 3, so first regeneration was Tennant-Smith
@SRA Don't be afraid to take a break once in a while. Uni life is almost designed to feel non-stop and intense, between studying for a degree and everything else, but that doesn't mean you should feel you're not able to stop and let your mind rest. Burnout is cruel and best avoided.
I stood on the priorities of promoting cooperation, community, and competitivity in the region, and I aim to keep these priorities in mind with everything I do in the role, and am always willing to listen to suggestions
Very much looking forward to getting stuck in, and giving something back to the student radio community. I've enjoyed 4 years with @XpressionFM, so it's only right that I help make sure people across the region get the same opportunities to enjoy student radio

They will be joining the new SRA Officer team starting TODAY. Congratulations to our three new officers ๐ฅณ
Taking a rest(ish) day, after a week with 3 exams (Halfway through exams, quarter of the way through exam period), and somewhat reckoning with the fact that in a matter of a few weeks, I'll have (hopefully) for all intents and purposes finished my degree... It's a weird feeling.
In fact, it felt like even trying to make time for the non-academic side just resulted in less time and more stress... A self-reinforcing cycle of anxiety. I know I'm not alone in feeling it but it has taken me a while to come fully to terms with these thoughts...
