LEGO lets kids and adults imagine , you let the build a basic HGTV “modern farmhouse” which might be technically more interesting in SOME aspects but about as creative as the Financial Times.

Orrrrr a founder who can’t find product market fit here, hires prematurely. VC that never delivered on a term sheet when a company started scaling before capital was deployed. Sales leader that out kicked their coverage and couldn’t implement the right strategies to make a team successful. Product that got replaced by AI overnight, which caused a big riff

It’s not always the candidate… startup world is pretty volatile so a year here a year there just shows somebody has an appetite for risk sometimes

We’re seeing a premium for GTM talent right now, the fever is similar to 2021, but some of the roadblocks are very different for hiring that type of talent.

Teams are learner and meaner, and we are seeing individuals do much more with less, but the demand is significantly out pacing the replacement of humans in the function.

Not the worst time to be a go to market recruiter though🤷🏻‍♂️… for now 🫠
