@SenAdamSchiff The press should tell the truth.
University should teach skills, not ideology.
Companies should hire color and gender blind.
The law should apply to all equally.
Why do you have a problem with any of that, Senator?
There is a good reason why the defense did not actually argue that and why no "expert" would testify to anything related to that knife not being opened when he stabbed him...
Would have made that expert look stupid on cross examination and further harmed the case, just as all of the defense witnesses did.
According to your own document... there are three situations that constitutes murder. Even if he did not "intentionally cause the death" he certainly intended to cause serious bodily injury when he stabbed him.
To prove murder in Texas, you do not have to prove all three of these... but one of the three.
I hate to tell you this @IsaacHayes3
But when your mentality is to defend a boy who stabbed another boy in the heart (killing him) over what accounts to "pride" or "FAFO" attitude.
It only secures that more young black males will end up with the same fate as Karmelo... years rotting in jail.
Why not teach kids that violence is not the answer to everything and that it is NOT a black thing to go around stabbing people.
@RevRayCistman is it any wonder that black people end up in jail so often.... with their clergy telling them that they don't need a good reason to kill people.
The trial is over... there are no more forensics or facts to be heard.
The lesson to be learned here is not to listen to rumors and lies on social media. No evidence was brought up during the trial that Austin Metcalf was a bully.
In my day if someone shoved we shoved back. Using your fists sort of happened from time to time. It's sissy and cowardly to pull out a knife.

@B1TuckerCarlson And let's be clear...
I grew up in a neighborhood where people fought with their fists... I didn't grow up with sissy boys who walk around with knives.
Who went to another team's tent and then refused to leave when asked?
Who threatened who with "touch me and find out what happens"?
Who got stabbed in the heart with a knife that was not allowed at that sporting event?
I am not sure you understand the legal concept of provocation.
