This needs to be an inclusive process - Dr. Blackstock and other experts must be fully involved and Chiefs should not be asked to vote on this settlement until we have time to properly review and consider all ramifications.

#AFN needs to take a hard look at changing and adapting in order to serve First Nations better. What they did to RoseAnne Archibald is unacceptable. The Tŝilhqot’in title decision gave AFN an opportunity to adapt and they still remain stuck in old ways. #AFNelection

It’s a shame that Buffy St Marie has built a career off the backs of Indigenous people. If you get adopted into a First Nations home and grew up with our values, we cherish that. But to lie, and not acknowledge your upbringing, is greatly shameful!

Are you for real? We have recommendations as well. Don't make this out to be only for the communities that the "schools" sat on unless Canada is offloading the legal responsibility to them. All Nations must be considered.
