There’s something ominous about the speed with which the entire world has marched to require identification on platforms and, as I expected, begin the process of banning anonymous VPNs.
Evil rarely sees itself as evil. It usually sees itself as payback, justice, self-defence. This was the justification for every atrocity in history. Viewing yourself as a victim is the surest path to becoming a predator.
I had received some questions about President @realDonaldTrump's recent posts, and here are my thoughts:
I do not believe President Trump would knowingly depict himself as Jesus Christ—that would certainly be inappropriate. I’m thankful the President has made it very clear that this was not at all what he thought the AI-generated image was representing—he thought it was a doctor helping someone, and when he learned of the concerns, he immediately removed the post.
When I looked at the illustration, I didn’t jump to the same conclusion as some. There were no spiritual references—no halo, there were no crosses, no angels. It was a flag, soldiers, a nurse, fighter planes, eagles, the Statue of Liberty, and I think this is a lot to do about nothing. There is so much ill-intended speculation. I think his enemies are always foaming at the mouth at any possible opportunity to make him look bad.
And the illustration from someone else he reposted on Truth Social yesterday, I must say that I like the fact that this is a picture of Jesus whispering in his ear, or at least His hand on his shoulder, guiding him. We all need that—we all need to be listening to Jesus. Again, I think there is an attempt to spin this into something that it isn’t. Remember, President Trump didn’t draw this, he didn’t create it, he reposted it on his social media because he thought it was nice—I would have to agree.
I’m not a Catholic, I’m an evangelical, but I appreciate how President Trump has defended religious freedom for people of all faiths, including millions of evangelicals and Catholics in the U.S. and around the world. He is the most pro-Christian, pro-life president in my lifetime, and he doesn’t shy away from it. I would hope that the President and Pope Leo can meet at some point, and that the Pope would have the opportunity to thank the President for his efforts to protect religious liberty for Catholics and people of all faiths.
It’s going unnoticed because so much other news is happening, but the war drums are beating again in D.C. The warmongers worry this is their last chance to get the white whale they’ve been chasing for thirty years, an all-out regime change war against Iran.
A new Middle East war would be a catastrophic mistake. Our military stockpiles are depleted from three years of backing Ukraine. Our effort to reshore manufacturing has only just begun and will take years to bear fruit. War would worsen our already immense deficit and national debt. Iran is larger than Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan combined. A war would not be easy and could easily become a calamity.
Thanks to President Trump’s restraint during his first term, America has a golden opportunity to pull away from Middle East quagmires for good. We shouldn’t throw that opportunity away so that sone D.C. has-beens can feel tough by sending young Americans to die yet again.
Mark Levin is telling us that this is what a NAZI looks like…
For those that don’t know, that’s Joe Kent’s deceased wife who was KIA in Syria. Those are Joe’s motherless children.
You make up your own mind on if we should listen to Mark or Joe.
It’s not 2003. We will not be silenced or manipulated into the belief that the only way we can support our troops or mourn our dead is to continue support the war
A declared regime change war of choice for "freedom" of the Iranian people. A regional war in a matter of hours. American lives at risk. A massive depletion of military stockpiles on behalf of Israel
Most importantly: The most profound campaign betrayal in modern US history
I hope I'm wrong.
But tonight feels like some sort of invisible line has been crossed that we didn't even know was there. The last time I felt like this was 9/11 when it was clear, without knowing the how and the what, that the world was about to change forever.
Like the rules of the game had been permanently altered and there was simply no going to back to the innocent, peaceful past.
I didn't feel like this when an attempt was made on President Trump's life. If I had to rationalise why I didn't, I guess it's because several US Presidents have been shot at and even assassinated. Somehow it was within the realms of the possible, no matter how awful.
But to murder a young father simply for doing debates and mobilising young people to vote for a party that represents half of America? This is something else.
Charlie's death is a tragedy for his wife, his children and his family. I don't pray often. I am praying for them tonight.
But I fear his murder will be a tragedy for all of us in ways we will only understand as time unfolds.
I hope I'm wrong.
Potential WW3 sparking incident, and a longtime influential politician’s response is “game” on.
This is how you’re viewed by leading congressional members if you or a loved one goes to war and dies. Or if your money pays for a war where masses are slaughtered. Chess pieces.
@rojacaliente @BrianEntin Look up how many controlled burns California actually does vs. how much they should be doing. And you’ll realize why these fires keep happening. Due No big arguments, no attribution of motive to you. Just take a look. Spoiler alert. It’s government giving into uneducated activism
If you are about to lose the electoral college, the popular vote, the House and the Senat it might be time to admit you have a problem that goes beyond "everybody that disagrees with us is evil".
We shouldn’t even allow dual citizens in media without being required to tell people that they are paid-for propagandists to advance the interests of another state.
