The climate/learning walks are so important - we currently have an 'on call' rota as SLT but it feels rather reactive and most of the time is spent picking up truancy issues. Trying to change this since starting in September.

@tombennett71 @Strickomaster @LouisEverett1 @teacherhead Yes, absolutely agree. Thank you for taking the time to reply. We're currently ironing out exactly what this looks like as there's a distinct lack of certainty around sanctions, both amongst staff and students.

A few ideas have fed into my whole school approach, with a big focus on front loading/teaching behaviour in addition to recognition and sanctioning, none of which is currently done near enough.

Click on Assessment Materials and there are sample portfolios with commentary/annotations for L1M, L2P and L2M. Loads of past papers and quizzes too.

@MrAngovePE We delivered it to Y10 and 11. I really liked it. There are definitely some on the website as that's what I used when marking mine. The students also used the exemplars to compare their own work with. I'll try and find the link now and send it over.
