The reports coming out of Chelsea right now are absolutely mind-blowing.
They rip up years of fairly slow progress given the money spent...
With yet another impatient, ill-thought out decision and fire the manager that is being strongly linked to the countries' most successful club of the last 15 years...
For what looks like Liam Rosenior. He was an excellent pundit, I rate the work he's done at Strasbourg... but this is an enormous task, coming in mid-season into a club this volatile, following the most unique recruitment strategy I've ever seen.
I feel sorry for the vast majority of Chelsea fans that have been able to put aside club bias and remain objective about what is happening over the last few seasons.
To those that couldn't and got personal with anyone that questioned any part of the operation or decision-making... enjoy.
Finished 15 points behind Liverpool last season, already 15 points back this campaign... doubt many Blues fans recognise their club.
"Chelsea are in a fantastic position from a PSR point of view"
Kieran Maguire analyses why Chelsea are on a good financial footing despite having the most expensive squad in the Premier League 🔵
@piersmorgan@piersmorgan you have gone missing for 20 years !
And you still have a long way to go…👀 💙
I have won more trophies since I retired playing golf than Arsenal have.🏌🏻♂️🤣
It isn't just big-spending either. There is a clear vision in recruitment evident from this January, especially compared to last summer. And with Christopher Nkunku and Malo Gusto incoming soon, there's forward-planning for the summer as well.
Chelsea have had a phenomenal window. They have shaken up the market, jumped ahead of rivals on targets and offered long-term contracts to help spread fees across multiple FFP cycles. Incredible ambition from Boehly, Eghbali and the new recruitment team.
If we want a serious Chelsea again. We have to gut the squad, and buy smart. We have to stump up the fees for a couple of marquee signings, and buy smart alongside. We also have to now correct some summer mistakes. Let’s leave it to the experts we’ve employed in recruitment.
@CFCPys Colwill will probably go on loan to a prem team for this season so therefore we would need an extra cb to replace him and next year Silva will probably leave so Colwill will come into the squad to replace him when that happens
