Miami stays at 12 after beating the 22nd ranked team by 31 on the road. Bama moves up a spot by beating a 5-6 Auburn team with no coach on the final possession. Makes sense. SEC logic.
Miami 2024
10-2, 3 wins by 7 points or fewer
No. 2 offense with No. 1 pick in draft
Bad defense
No Conference title game
No playoff (and shouldn’t have been in)
Oklahoma 2025
10-2, 4 wins by 7 or fewer
No. 4 defense
Bad offense
No Conference title game
In playoff?
Okay so now we have one quality common opponent between ND and Miami in Pitt. Miami was better in worse conditions vs Pitt actually trying to win the game.
But this is stupid. Because instead of that we could just use the actual game when they played each other
Miami > ND
I’m sorry at some point this NEEDS to be a part of the discussion with the committee. It’s 7-10 points a week on bs like this. SMU doesn’t win without bs like this.
This is the craziest thing I’ve ever read… they have the same record. They play the same caliber schedule. Miami DOMINATED THEM ON THE FIELD. WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT
Canes lose. The fact we are sitting here on Nov. 1 and they're already a major longshot to make playoffs is immensely disappointing. Mario has clearly upgraded talent, but fact they're 14-14 in conference during his tenure is tough to stomach. SMU 21-2 in last 23 ACC games.
