The suspects have been identified as Lagashia Williams and Graciela Amar of Pittsburg, California

Gigi, a 10-year-old dog, suffered liver and leg damage after being kicked

She weighs less than 3 pounds. Gigi still suffers from neck pain, likely due to an injured disc

The incident occurred after a neighbor's car backed into plants on Lopes' property

The woman told her daughter to kick the dog

The daughter then retrieved a gun from the car, and Lopes called the police
