In keeping with 🇱🇺 tradition, H.R.H Grand Duchess Charlotte abdicated in favor of H.R.H. Grand Duke Jean in 1964. In 2000, He passed the throne to his son H.R.H. Grand Duke Henri. On October 3 Grand Duke Henri will abdicate in favor of H.R.H. Crown Prince Guillaume.
