Slaughter decision, claiming the Court “granted Trump free rein to continue firing members of agencies” and “the logic applies to other agencies with similar restrictions on the President firing members without cause” and ends “90 years of Court precedent that curbs executive power.”

Secretary Mullin explains to CNN's Jake Tapper that many Hatians and Syrians here under TPS had decades to "reestablish their status" in the US but didn't, and that the Trump administration is only accepting of immigrants who entered the US legally and aren't a burden to American taxpayers:

"Keep in mind a lot of these individuals haven't been here 18 months; they've been here 18 years. Some of them have been here 20 years, 30 years. They've had plenty of time to reestablish their status inside the United States; they just chose not to.

Then there's some that have been here underneath the Biden administration that took advantage of an open border, and those individuals didn't really come over here because they needed protected status; they came over here because they were taking advantage of a weak leadership.

So what we want, and the President has made this very clear, those that are coming to this country legally, they need to be able to contribute to the United States and not be a burden on the taxpayers."

Democrats continue to struggle with the meaning of the word 'temporary' when it comes to Temporary Protected Status. It's not permanent.

Sen. Jim Banks says there's no better way to celebrate America 250 than to pass the SAVE America Act, and says the GOP needs to fight for it because "the voters want it":

"Right now, we have a lot of Republicans who say they're for it, but they're not fighting for it...Whatever it takes, we need to be fighting to pass the SAVE America Act because we need the Trump voters to show up and vote for us in November. And right now, a lot of those voters are going to sit back and say, 'You didn't do what you said you were going to do,' and President Trump brought that message to lunch and said, 'Fight for the SAVE America Act.'
