Is the @Memeland team top tier in comms? Even as a strong supporter, I would say certainly not and I do empathize with some of the supporters who have lost faith due to this. It does take some level of blind loyalty and some call it ‘stupidity’ to keep supporting.
Some ask me why do I keep supporting? Let’s just say trust is earned and lost of course. And throughout my entire time in memeland, they have only earned my trust and never lost it. Every action has always been with the holders in mind. This is a good intentioned team who work very hard. I don’t think they have ever lost this direction although I would probably not fault them if they do given how much criticism they get all the time. It’s very difficult to keep working for people who don’t appreciate anything you do but I hope they keep going for those who believe and there are still a lot out there, many quieter than the vocal crowd
Do I hope $meme and @Memeland can do better? Of cos I do. I’m not smart but I’m not that stupid 😅. But when you trust someone, trust fully unless they lose it. Again, they have not done anything to lose my trust
And my last point being, many keep harping on ideas that were mentioned before but shelved or ultimately, not executed. For god’s sake, you even make a whole list of items. If you have been in memeland since the start, you know @9gagceo loves to bounce ideas to get feedback. Some ideas progress, some don’t. And many get shelved. We literally bounce from animals to AI to politicians to countries within days and you expect them to not react to changes in the market. If they just force launch products that have no fit, they would be a real rug. But whenever anything is mentioned, it gets recorded into a list and this list is used to hound them. Can you imagine every idea you mention, you get hounded for it even when it no longer works and they have moved on. Everytime I go into discord, I see people hounding. I feel tired, much less them. You ask them are they still a community company? But are you still a good community member? Are you ready to support them through the darkest periods? Nothing wrong if you have decided to leave but if you are still here, why are you not supporting?
Where are we from the North Star now? I have no idea. The seas are rocky but I trust @9gagceo and team to take us there. And if we don’t, you’re probably laughing at us either openly or behind anyway
Apologies for the long rant. Had too much time after using @MemePay on my kopi o kosong while waiting for my boy to finish his lesson. Hope he appreciates my patience
I’m planning to get more @BitcoinFrogs
In my opinion, this collection is one of the most significant, if not the most significant, in the entire ordinals community.
The RIBBIT culture laid the foundation for everything we see today.
True collectors understand it 🐸
It was awesome for @MemelandSG to be able to help @Memeland team host 100+ holders! Half of them are below the deck scrubbing the floor. Loved meeting our local holders and so many who flew in
Huge pleasure working with @thisisconan@karenckarenc@Zeta_Web3 and best partner @lfgoldi
And many were asking me who our heroes at the registration booth were. They made the process so smooth and did not get to eat much just to ensure it was a great experience. So big thanks to @ellaces@greenshoelf@KingOdin34@_soonsoonsoon
Hope everyone enjoyed the event and the special merch sponsored by @MrGentleApe@BBRCStudios

Memeland is like a gift that keeps on giving.
Still one of the best mint decision I made ~2 years ago.
Only spent around $1500 USD to mint my Captainz, and since then, my Memeland portfolio literally grew on its own.
— Earned through WL opportunities (From this alone, I already covered all my minting costs.)
— $MEME presale (only spent ~$300. I already claimed 200,000 $MEME at the time of writing, which is currently worth $2000 at the current price even though we're at ATL.)
— Daily token drip from NFTs and token presales.
— Earning through Stakeland partner drops without having to sell my tokens.
And that's only the quantifiable part. Honestly, the biggest win for me was meeting a lot of friends inside the community — people that I consider friends and family in WEB 3 for years now.
Through them, I also managed to kickstart a content creation career that has landed me multiple opportunities here in WEB 3.
I said this back then and will say it again: I couldn't see myself in NFTs without @Memeland. 🏴☠️
How do I put it?
Firstly, I acknowledge that there are many good holders we have in @Memeland , some quieter, some more vocal, some with amazing memory or research skill and can document out every single product or alfa hinted or mentioned. I hope not to invalidate your feelings but I have certain opinions as well
The main criticism I see frequently of the team are lack of communications (despite vowing to improve during the last townhall) and wen is product A gona be launched? Wen is product B gona be launched? Wen is Product 69 gona be launched?
My question back to you is do you really want 'communication' and products to be launched OR do you actually want news and products out that can pamp the price of $meme?
Because unfortunately, if you do not realize by now, this is not a team that will keep churning out news or products just to pamp the price. Is their end goal to make sure the price goes up? You bet. They want it as much as we do, if not more than we do. But what is the approach they have taken? They build long term sustainable products. They keep thinking of new ideas and stay observant to what is happening in the market. They try to learn from the best and make the 6.9% tweak to make it better. And what does this mean? They have to frequently scratch ideas or improve until they are at least confident for the product to be launched. Timing plays a big part as well. That's probably the reason why so many products disappear from sight.
Would you rather that or would you rather they keep launching stuff at all sorts of timing that have a high chance of falling flat. Can they communicate all these to us nicely? Sure they can. But what do we want to do with the information that this product has been shelved? That product has been delayed. Do we take the info to buy more $meme or sell more $meme? Do we ask even more questions? And wen the price doesn't react or reacts negatively, then what happens next?
I have no idea what is the team working on at the moment but I have been a holder in this project long enough to know that these guys @9gagceo@0xChar the @Memeland team are always working to make sure that $meme eventually becomes one of the most valuable tokens. Are they the smartest or fastest? Probably not but everytime a product is launched, it is usually with the best long term intentions of the project. I would believe they are the most hardworking team in the space. I'm not sure if that's good enough for you but it's good enough for me.
This is a very brutal space, especially as we have seen in the last few days wen prices are down horrid. I'm also not advocating that we should not be questioning the team. But maybe, just maybe, if we want our token to pamp with the assumption that the team is doing their best on the same ship with us, we ask ourselves what can we do instead? I don't know. Maybe help spread more positivity about the good things already done? Onboard another friend? Or if not, maybe just touch grass while trusting the team to continue to work?
I hope this has not come across badly. I do acknowledge there are many frustrated holders who have held a long time and I'm one of you. If you have read my rant all the way to this point, you are welcome to throw our favourite meme to tell me you ain't reading all of that. This is Memeland after all.
I don't know what market it is but this is far from the worst I have personally experienced.

In its first 45 days, Stakeland has brought over $10,000,000 in liquid token to stakers, between 3 different deals. The current staking pool is $85m.
There is lots more to come.
Memeland has taken no fees on any deals.
Hats off to @0xChar & @9gagceo who always seek out ways to deliver value to $MEME holders and our partners.
