July is Disability Pride Month and today we were able to play with fidgets! Fidgets are not just toys; they are tools that help people regulate and concentrate. They create a sensory experience that redirects the focus from anxiety and stress to calmness and concentration.
On June 19th, 1865, two years after President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation, Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas with the news that the more than 250,000 enslaved Black people in the state were free.
Energy Safety will continue to fulfill its core mission, contribute to the push for a more equitable and just society, and strive to develop and maintain an inclusive and diverse workforce, one that reflects the composition of the communities served by the utilities we regulate.
