The last few days before the ITR deadline are the busiest time for every tax professional.
I’ve stopped taking most phone calls and instead rely on an auto-reply with:
✅ Filing fees
✅ Required documents
✅ Email/WhatsApp details
Why?
Most calls start with:
• “How much refund will I get?”
• “Another CA quoted a lower fee. Can you match it?”
• “Can you file it immediately?”
• “When will I get my refund?”
In my experience, these conversations rarely convert into genuine clients. They only consume valuable time during the peak filing season.
Serious taxpayers simply share their documents over email or WhatsApp after reviewing the information provided. That’s the fastest and most efficient way to get the return filed.
Also, no CA can honestly promise a refund amount without reviewing your income, deductions, taxes paid, and documents. And no professional can guarantee when the Income Tax Department will process your refund.
During the deadline rush, respect everyone’s time. Share your documents first—the right advice follows.

Proud to be associated with ICAI. The CA journey is built on merit, hard work, and discipline. While many competitive exams have faced controversies over paper leaks and irregularities, ICAI continues to be respected for the credibility of its examination system and professional standards.
That’s what makes the CA qualification so valuable.

We file returns on time, pay taxes on time, and follow every rule.
Yet, our own refunds take months.
If we delay — we pay penalties.
But when the system delays — we get silence.
Fairness should work both ways. 💔

It’s high time @IncomeTaxIndia plans well in advance for the timely release of ITR and Audit Utilities.
Every financial year ends the same way utilities delayed, deadlines tight, and professionals under pressure.
If managing it efficiently isn’t possible internally, then outsource it to a capable team.
The government should ensure all ITR and Audit Forms are released by 1st April without fail.
Start preparing now, not when it’s already too late.

Despite filing returns on time (July) and raising multiple grievances, many genuine taxpayers are still waiting for their refunds.
Refunds delayed, trust strained — especially before the festive season.
ITR processing still pending for several of my clients. Is this the “Digital India” we envisioned?
@IncomeTaxIndia@FinMinIndia please look into this urgently.

Exactly! Taxpayers’ hard-earned money wasted, tax professionals’ sleepless nights ignored, and government’s arrogance on top of it all. We fund billions for a portal that collapses every hour — yet they refuse to even admit their failure. This is not efficiency, this is mockery of citizens.
My CA told me that he has not gone home and spending sleepless nights in his office since last 3 days because one IT company who took billions of dollars of taxpayers money, to build the income tax portal, has done such shoddy work that the website crashes every hour.
What an irony that we pay tax to fund a portal which does not work when we pay taxes 😀😀

#Extend_Due_Date_Immediately
@CAChirag All CAs, professionals, taxpayers — remember this insult. A 1-day extension is a joke. And remember, just 1 vote is enough to extend this incompetent govt. completely out of power.
Amazing! They gave a 1-day extension without even admitting their fault or mentioning the real reason. Truly magical — errors fix themselves, deadlines extend themselves, and still the portal is ‘working fine’.
Income Tax Dept claimed the portal was working fine. Then why this 1-day extension? And if the site was really fine, why midnight maintenance? Stop hiding glitches, accept the truth.
KIND ATTENTION TAXPAYERS!
The due date for filing of Income Tax Returns (ITRs) for AY 2025-26, originally due on 31st July 2025, was extended to 15th September 2025.
The Central Board of Direct Taxes has decided to further extend the due date for filing these ITRs for AY 2025-26 from 15th September, 2025 to 16th September, 2025.
To enable changes in the utilities, the e- filing portal will remain in maintenance mode from 12:00 AM to 02:30AM on 16th September 2025.
