CABDA has been a proud Sub Recipient of the Amref Global Fund #TB Project since 2016. We recently had the honor of hosting the @Amref Health Africa in Kenya Board of Directors during their routine monitoring visits. #TBFreeKenya#GlobalFund
The team visited Kakamega County General Hospital, where they witnessed critical community TB interventions, including contact screening, tracing of treatment interrupters, and active case finding. #EndTB
During the visit, they heard the inspiring journey of a couple who both contracted #TB, battled the disease together, and are now fully cured. A true testament to the power of community TB interventions! #HealthForAll
Community actors like TB champions, linkage assistants, and CHPs shared their experiences, highlighting the impact of grassroots efforts in TB control. #CommunityHealth#TBHeroes
The team also visited Rising to Greatness CBO, beneficiaries of the Community Systems Strengthening program, showcasing their incredible growth after undergoing capacity assessments and mentorship. #CBO#CommunityDevelopment
We are grateful for the continued support from @Amref Health Africa in Kenya and all partners working together to #EndTB and strengthen community health systems. Together, we’re making a difference! #HealthImpact#TBControl

@water1st,we are incredibly grateful for last week's visit at Emukoye Water Scheme! The three-day event was a tremendous success, and we are delighted to showcase the positive impact of the project, including households with doorstep water connectivity, Safi toilet and SILC group
CABDA was established in 2005 with the aim of touching and transforming lives of children, youth, and women by building strong sustainable structures in families.
Welcome to the official X account of Community Asset Building and Development Action (CABDA)! We are dedicated to transforming communities through our work in TB, WASH, OVC, and Climate Change projects.
Clean water is essential for health and dignity. Our latest WASH project in Emukoye, Butere, has brought clean and safe water and safi toilets to over 100 families in the community. #WASH#CleanWaterForAll
In March 2023, through the WASH Emukoye Project, Joyce was among the over 100 households who benefited with water connectivity to her doorstep and construction of a new flush toilet. #DignityThroughWASH.
For over 20 years, Joyce, a beneficiary of the project, faced daily hardships, struggling to get clean water. She often had to compete with children for water from the Emukoye River. #WASH.
Now, Joyce's life is filled with dignity and ease. No more daily battles for water—she now enjoys clean and safe water at her doorstep, saving time wasted in fetching water from the river, improved sanitation and hygiene. #WASHEmukoye.
