In other cities, drivers are already experiencing the benefits of our fully electric MAXiCab, with strong real-world range, lower costs, and improved passenger comfort.
Meanwhile in London, drivers have no taxi to purchase.
Progress for some. Stagnation for others.

It’s encouraging to hear, via @taxi_point, that an unnamed LEVC spokesperson has confirmed a new taxi is on the way. We welcome competition. It drives innovation, keeps costs competitive, and expands choice for operators. Monopolies rarely serve the wider market well.
Hear from our Managing Director, Peter Facenna, about why he feels the MAXiCab would be a good addition to London’s taxi fleet, why choice is a good thing and monopolies are not, and how the MAXiCab is proving to be a success in other cities throughout the UK.

@WiseyCabby@BondCabdriver@PaulParklane Reading’s CoF are quite similar. Coventry too - that was up until a few weeks ago when they decided to do away with the turning circle condition in favour of choice and more modern vehicles.
@BondCabdriver You’re actually correct in fairness, as a monopoly would imply there’s currently one single taxi available to purchase, but even that isn’t the case now.
Everything is great though. Nothing to worry about and no need to consider changing anything. 👍
@BondCabdriver The vehicle comes with a full size spare wheel. As for the length, this isn’t a problem for any other city where there hasn’t been the same dramatic drop in taxis as there has been in London. Surely the extra 7k taxis that used to be on the road would have taken up more space?!
When both vehicles are running on petrol, the 2.5l engine in the PHEV MAXiCab is less harmful to the environment than the 1.5l range extender engine in the LEVC TX.
