To cap off an excellent week our @Cabinteely_Cs Female Empowerment Group’s entry into the @IYPA_2021 was awarded a Highly Commended for the Most Creative Philosophy Project. Another successful collaboration with Ms Kelly to highlight an important issue. So proud of the students

We are so proud of all the young people involved. Issues such as drugs and addiction need a community wide and collaborative approach and it was a pleasure to work with Ms Kelly, Keelin, Thomas and DLR Taskforce. To confront such a serious issue and have such fun is rare #proud

Over the last number of weeks 21 first year students have been involved in a drugs education and prevention film project in collaboration with DLR Drugs and Alcohol Task Force and the School Completion Programme. The official premiere of their film took place yesterday 👏🏽🤩

Really excited to see how our female empowerment group in @Cabinteely_Cs get on the @IYPA_2021 2022. They have also surveyed the school community on the issue of misogynistic language and the results are very interesting
