Do you agree that the 21 Landlord TDs, including the Taoiseach should recuse themselves from voting on the PBP/Sol Rent Reduction Bill tonight ?

Rent Reduction Bill 2023
The Government will oppose a People Before Profit bill to cap rents over fears it could lead to "cherry-picking" of tenants.
@paulmurphy_TD names the Land Lord TDs & calls on them to recuse themselves from tonight's vote. Needless to say, the Largest Landlord TD in the Dail was not happy with this suggestion.

One of the most depressing aspects of the current “Evil Literature” censorship movement in Ireland is that they are targeting the reading materials for one of the most sensitive demographics that use the public library system.
Hmm is the entire purpose of the shock return of no fault evictions to generate a rush of landlord sales that causes a short term dip in house prices an election can then be risked on? As divisive a strategy as you can get but if your goal is 30% of vote …

💥Last Saturday, our members and the local community successfully defended against a forced eviction in Phibsboro.
Before the residents moved in, the property was empty for 11 years, in the middle of a dire housing crisis.
We stand together against this greed and abuse.
