Spoke w/ @PMTrudeau about the Ford govt’s unprecedented use of the Notwithstanding Clause. The federal govt must intervene w/ the Disallowance Clause to stop Ford from taking a sledgehammer to workers’ rights. These actions demand a strong response. #StandWithCUPE#onlab#canlab
If @fordnation & @Sflecce think that they are on the right side of history they are living in an echo chamber.
The propaganda that is being churning out by @PCPressOffice tells a tale of insecurity.
But this display of solidarity from @opffa is absolutely amazing! #RepealBill28
Let us pray for a just and peaceful resolution to all labour disputes throughout our world but in particular we pray for the situation in #onted. St. Joseph patron saint of workers pray for us! #Awaken
If education workers can't afford to pay rent, then they can't afford to stay in their jobs - and schools will quickly become short staffed, facing still more closures.
Enough bullying. @fordnation must make a deal that allows schools to retain essential workers.
