@everplay3@musf1k@PlayOverwatch@Xbox Not nearly at the scale they used to be at. 3 a week is nothing, you used to be able to get 3 in the first hour of play each day if you played right
@Ryulightorb@owencmyk@musf1k@PlayOverwatch@Xbox You get 3 a week at 9, 18, and 27 matches played with a couple legendaries in the premium battle pass and a rotating challenge set that lets you get a few more. Nothing like the old days of grinding out multiple in a day
@owencmyk@musf1k@PlayOverwatch@Xbox You used to get bonus loot boxes for queueing undermanned roles as well as a loot box for every level up and commendation level. 3 a week after 27 matches is nothing, you used to be able to hit like 5 a day
@mcboxboy I think a lot of it stems from the single recording, single upload style. When the whole group is recording and posting from 1 session, it really limits what yall can do to make videos unique. As much as yall may try to avoid it, nobody wants to hear the same joke 8 times
@PenguinVolcano@DelusionPosting The soul-selling didn’t really kick off in earnest until BO3, then AW and Ghosts had P2W dlc weapons and loot boxes and announcer packs. They stopped being enjoyable when they switched from map packs to battle passes though, other than MW2019 pre-warzone
@reubal@DelusionPosting Halo popularized it, cod needed a few shots at glory before they really nailed it in the head with cod4mw and everything snowballed from there. Ultimately though, it’s cod that’s killing it with predatory mtx and poor qc
