On #Survivor50 premiere day, I’m thinking about what this show means to me.

It’s not just a passion. It’s kinship, community, finding people who get it, when you feel like no one should. Caring too much, but finding your people who also care too much.

Tracking decades through seasons. Ugly victories. Beautiful defeats. The exquisite pain. Remembering not just moments but where you were for those moments.

It’s the world’s greatest game, & it’s so much more than the game. #Survivor has shaped my life & I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way.

-Kristina’s journey edit culminated last episode, has been irrelevant the whole game outside of that
-Steven and/or Sage are the Final 5 “final boss” the advantage trio has to overcome. Kristina will undoubtedly be dragged to fire making #Survivor49

Key takeaways from last few eps IMO:

-Rizo is coming off as a game bot. No personal content, feels like fire making loser or 2nd place
-Savannah is the more dimensional character of the duo. Aware of her position in the game and how she comes across via confessionals

-and we have personal content from her pre merge and post merge
-Sophi, while a dimensional character, feels to me like she’ll miss her opportunity or be too afraid to make a move. Her story is tied to that KIP and she only has two more chances to use it #Survivor49

Final Thoughts 2: and I’m loving the game and character arcs of Jawan and Sage. They simultaneously have a pulse on the game, while still being a bit out of touch. Fascinating stuff. #Survivor49

Takeaways from #Survivor49 merge catchup: Savannah was highlighted 2 separate times w/regards to legacy/winning: Once when Jeff said you can steal someone’s career from behind their back, and then when he said million dollar win. Conflicting and intriguing.

Final thoughts: non-factors right now seem to be Kristina, Alex, and now Yellow Sophie. Yes she’s a challenge threat, but she talked her way into Rizo’s plan of constantly being a target. Interested to see where Sophi goes, she’s playing great UTR atm. #Survivor49
