@klhjones @Emma_Barrett7 @LauraJSefton I replied to one of the tweets above.

@LauraJSefton @klhjones @Emma_Barrett7 Also, those flowers were fake AF. Literally super glued on.

@LauraJSefton @klhjones @Emma_Barrett7 Then all you have to do is water it once a month and it'll be fine forever as long as it gets adequate light.

[Cactus Appreciation @CactusSociety]

@LauraJSefton @klhjones @Emma_Barrett7 After that, stick limbs in new soil and give them about 2 months to develop new roots. No real water in that time. Misting a little is ok.

[Cactus Appreciation @CactusSociety]

@LauraJSefton @klhjones @Emma_Barrett7 Sharp, clean knife, cut them off at the base. Leave them out for a few weeks while the cuttings callous over.

[Cactus Appreciation @CactusSociety]

@LauraJSefton @klhjones @Emma_Barrett7 Not watering it for months at a time???

Transplant instructions incoming.

[Cactus Appreciation @CactusSociety]

@PorceIainCactus fingers crossed for thriving plants in a few months.🤞

[Cactus Appreciation @CactusSociety]

Here goes nothin! I'll check them once a week to feel for roots. Smart money is on two rotten pads though. #Cactus #Cacti

[Cactus Appreciation @CactusSociety]

Disclaimer: I am fully aware this might be a dumb idea. But it only cost me $0.29.

[Cactus Appreciation @CactusSociety]

EXPERIMENT: Bought two #cactus pads from a Mexican market intended to be cooked. Gonna pot them instead & try to get a living plant. #cacti

[Cactus Appreciation @CactusSociety]

@amieshomeart Thanks for the follow from Malaysia! Have a great day! If I were in your part of the world, I'd buy a #cactus!

[Cactus Appreciation @CactusSociety]

On a fun note, here's the best bloom I've had so far this spring.

Can't get over the stunning yellow w/ pink in the middle! #cactus #cacti

For the record, that toothbrush was the very cheapest I could find at my local dollar store, emphasis on HARD bristles. Came in a 5 pack.

After! Total time spent on this section: ~45 seconds

Leftover spots tend to fade with time too!
