@jmarieray Twitter has become so much worse as well now thay verified users can make money from engagement. It’s basically encouraged to say harmful or controversial things because it gets you more views, so the people calling out and bringing attention to them just make them more money
@sweeepr I think it depends on what roles/expertise the two people are lol. Like if they are two engineers who don’t have any art related experience, it’s more understandable
@RobinVanina An important call out for this is it’s usually not recommended to create two way dependencies like that. Where the parent creates the child and the child knows about the parent. It’s talked about more here at 18:54

@RobinVanina An important distinction to make is direct casting to BP asset will immediately load the casted blueprint into memory, which in most cases is very bad as you’ll run into hitching. You usually want to prioritize using interfaces or only casting to C++ classes
@ArgonIsAGas@SarkBM_@gaspoweredpick You answered your own question. A collectible is adding incentive for someone to kill it
And like I already mentioned think of the warden’s “drops” and rewards as the items you get from chests avoiding it in ancient cities. You don’t kill it to get the reward and collectibles
There’s no option to disable the gameplay changes either. If you want to play as a woman in the game you’re forced to get the easier settings. I’m still in disbelief on how this is a feature that got out of the pitching stage
I’m getting around to playing Super Mario Bros U Deluxe to prepare for Wonder releasing this year, and apparently the only female playable character basically enables an “easy mode” for the game? The game didnt even come out that long ago
@galegrettilima @_benui @vaccaro3d The point of the performance option is when you want to sacrifice fidelity for frame rate since the console can’t do both. The PS5 still needs the setting (and the crossgen games have it for this reason) because next gen consoles can usually still not do both
@galegrettilima @_benui @vaccaro3d The Last Of Us Part 1, Spider-Man Miles Morales, and Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart are some more next-gen only examples of games that have the option
But even then how do the others being crossgen or MP relate to this? They’re still games that have a 60fps performance setting
@_benui @vaccaro3d I don’t know if “a ton of old games didn’t have <blank> and they were still good” is a valid point when new tech lets you do something better
@_benui @vaccaro3d I do think a recent standard has been set for most console games to have a Quality (30fps) and Performance (60fps) option. Spiderman, Horizon Forbidden West, Dead Space, Fortnite, etc
