Feeling like my presence only registers when a need arises. It's not about grand gestures, just the simple wish to feel consistently valued. If someone wants to, they will, right?
Some days, the silence speaks volumes, doesn't it? It's like waiting for a signal that only comes on when it's needed. Makes you wonder about the space in between. Just wishing for a little more of that in-between time, you know?
Seeing many rookies win daesangs in 1-1.5 years...
But i can never stop emphasizing how industry-changing it was for BTS to get their 1st ever Daesang in their 3rd year...
Being the 1st to win at Big 2 awardshows as a non-Big 3 act...
BTS's tears had desperation, lack of belief, shock, ACTUAL shock...
A desperation you cannot see in any other scene on stage... Least i don't feel anything like how i felt when i watched BTS receive their 1st Daesangs... A group that was actually trying to survive so many things...
From hate campaigns, threats to mediaplays... Just getting out of the "broke-company" conditions..
Those 2 times, they changed the industry's focus, and showed non-Big3 acts too can rise reach there..
And i actually hope actual disadvantaged-groups too one day can reach that level just like them..
When that hapoens, when what BTS did gets repeated, 2016 will surely will be remembered.
