@natehowe@japaninator Not to mention they are shifting the responsibility of checking in on us now. No staff, just a tablet for you to create your own room key.
@caddietales I enjoy the occasional cigar, but when my kids were younger I didn't want to smoke in front of them, so the course became my refuge. I wonder how many others do so from their kids/spouse.
@landlawyerbrian My CPA recently told me that people are targeting small trade companies, because they likely don't have an IT person and are more likely to miss it. I'm paranoid about watching ours.
@DillonOtt1102 My electrical company provides free estimates depending on the project, but I rarely give numbers over the phone any more. Too often something important was overlooked by the customer and they fixate on the original number given.
@5150Farms@NickHorob@MaxROIFarmer Agreed. The service will likely be 4-5000 by itself. And if you're running #6 or #8 wire, that's gets spendy in a hurry.
@PelagicLoup They are a utility that people turned into a life style. That said small 4cyl from the 80/90s would be fine, but we have these monstrosities that can't see 10 feet in front them and with LEDs light they blind everyone.
@BMitchHill@ryanmouquegolf I'm a shit golfer, but I seem to be great at bunker shots, doing exactly what you said. Square edge right behind the ball. It just works for me.
@JeffLonsdale@moseskagan This was one of the reasons I left telecom. Stir/Shaken was poorly implemented and it left small telcos in a no win position. High implement cost and even higher exposure due to random FCC enforcement.
@giveashitnature They are common in my semi-rural neighborhood in Iowa. The prevalence of them is kinda hit and miss year to year, but they are everywhere this spring.
@Clutch_DWG@jessicasca98976@uhaul My anecdotal evidence says otherwise. Just recently I was going to rent a truck from Menards and for the day it was going to be around $150. Got a Uhaul van for $112.
@Jakeypoo1312@UncleMaui My youngest graduated last year. Beginning of each year, we would have to purchase an activity pass for him. Around $100 I think, which got him into the basketball and football games. Otherwise he would have to pay for each game. Of course it was only good for home games.
