I’m so angry I can barely see. Charlotte, a woman who deserved so much more than this world ever gave her, is gone. She took her own life, and I can’t stop thinking about the pain she must have felt standing on that view in Portland, looking out at that view she called “pretty” in her last X post.

“Its a pretty view,” she said, and then, “long way down.” That image of the bridge at night, the water below, the city lights ...it’s burned into my mind.
