@StormSilvawalk1 @HalfCatRocketry I spent a while trying to get the nitrous piston system to work at a larger scale but it doesn’t scale well beyond lowercase O motors. Nitrous self pressurization systems are just not worth it unless you are just planing to fly for fun and don’t care about altitude.

@chet_wiltshire @joebarnard @Launch_Canada @kipdaugirdas @HalfCatRocketry I’ve tried them in the past, but I’ve had issues with them falling off easily if they are rubbed against even if they are taped down to the rocket.

So it turns out my rocket fits perfectly in the tubes from my last 2 McMaster Carr orders.

@chet_wiltshire @joebarnard @Launch_Canada @kipdaugirdas @HalfCatRocketry I want to create a way to protect the fins that’s quick and easy to assemble at home and in the field. So far the I’ve tried tapeing a square box and wrapping a ton of bubble wrap around them, but those don’t work very well. If you have any recommendations please let me know

@chet_wiltshire @joebarnard @Launch_Canada @kipdaugirdas @HalfCatRocketry I just sawed through the cardboard with an exacto knife. Nun of the cuts were clean looking because I had to really saw through the cardboard, but they did the job and protected the rocket.

@mileBlais I personally find using the parting tool is the funest tool to machine with, but they cost an arm and a leg to get a holder for it
