Thinking of my dad today, whose influence still stays with me long after his passing.
Being a father has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
My sons and daughter remind me every day of the importance of love, opportunity and belonging.
Fathers and strong role models help young people build the confidence, resilience and values they need to thrive.
That's why I'm leading work across government to back dads, strengthen families and improve outcomes for men and boys.
Today is Windrush Day. 🖤
A day for us to pause, reflect and honour those from the Windrush Generation who paved the way for us all.
We owe them more than a moment of recognition.
We owe them our pride, our gratitude, and our promise — that their story will never be erased again.
We owe them everything.🖤

@ttrinityb@SubwayUK@ubereats_uk Say to them ‘ok I’m going into the store to get my refund as you have left me no choice’ they refund then. If they don’t go in there n demand to speak franchise owner or say ur going to report the store to their company. Depends how much u want to fight it lol. I’d go all way
@techtoby__ This has to be the deadest recycled chat. No real person with big aspirations would aspire to be doing that. This is for the painters and decorators
10 years ago my wife, the mum of our kids & the MP for Batley&Spen was killed by a far right extremist.
At anniversaries I try to be optimistic about the future. But not this time. In the ten years since she was killed we have gone backwards & I fear our democracy is now at risk
