@pebblejams@NewWaveBronze Is literally the only text they have ever read about Iran. Again it's a good book, and I don't hold any of that against the author, but understand that its utility as propaganda in America is a big part of its success, at least in my country
@pebblejams@NewWaveBronze I didn't say it was propaganda I said the USA uses it as propaganda. And, unfortunately, the USA has been the dominant country on earth militarily, economically, and culturally for the last seven decades. We are also currently at war with Iran and for most US Americans this book
@Alex_Karrion@RynariBlanc@Elaa_ampe5 Then SHE's being unreasonable. If you take a paternity test and it comes back negative you should assume your wife cheated on you, and you should leave her
@NewWaveBronze Just because it's an honest telling of one person's experience doesn't mean it wasn't used as propaganda in America. I read graphic novels religiously as a kid and this was the only one that was ever taught in class. This book was how the schools wanted us to think of Iran
@mrabkin Oh okay so the chart only accounts for 80% of people. The rich have gotten much much richer. Thank you for clarifying. The guillotines are still going up buddy
@DylanALTKY@linaposting Nah Bernie being one of the most visible politicians of the last decade has made vermont far more influential than it ought to be
@necroma888 Absolutely incredible art. To be clear, i don't really know how one can make this and not mean for it to be Jon Snow on one side and the lannisters on the other but it is great nonetheless
@TransStalin1917 Nah we care deeply about this place, and Cascadia will be a lovely socialist paradise after the great satan is destroyed. These people, however, will be dealt with
@defno_ghostface@realwow_mao I feel like in most cities nowadays the rich live in the suburbs and suck wealth from the cities, and seattle is (mostly) the other way around, many extremely rich people live in the city proper. Might have something to do with it
@lmchankins@OmoAluko11 Bruh this isn't a feminism thing it's a classism thing, clearly this is an affluent woman who is talking down to a poorer guy by instinct, despite his skillset being more important than hers in this context
