🚨 Rachel Reeves has been accused of lying to justify her tax raid after it emerged she never faced a £30bn black hole in the run-up to the Budget.

I’m very much of the view that if somebody breaks into your home and tries to harm your family? Then what happens to them, happens to them. Tough shit.
Rachel Reeves blames everyone but herself and her Govt for the shocking state of the UK economy, and is clearly planning to announce massive tax rises that she and Keir Starmer repeatedly promised NOT to level on us. She has no idea what she’s doing.
@grant_puskar_ As a Browns fan from the UK, getting to see them live last week was great. Obviously the result not so much. But with what they charge for games now and the quality of the games, ticket sales are at a low and can't be attracting new fans!

I have just submitted a parliamentary motion opposing Digital ID.
All supportive MPs must immediately put aside any petty political differences and come together to oppose such a horrific scheme.
Say NO to Digital ID.
Parents should not be fined for taking their children out of school, who otherwise have good attendance, for a time-limited family break.
I've written to all headteachers in my constituency today asking for them to apply some common sense.
A very positive response so far.
Responsible parents should have the right to take their children out of school for a week during term time without getting fined. If attendance is otherwise good, and the child is doing well, then there is absolutely no reason not to allow a holiday with the family which could often otherwise not happen.
Prices during holidays are just so extreme, many working families just can’t afford it. Either go during term time, or don’t go at all.
Many parents just take the fine, and go regardless. I don’t blame them, to be honest. It still works out cheaper.
Having a week away with the family gives a child such incredible life experience that just cannot be gained in the classroom. Will a few days off school ruin their education? No. Let’s be honest.
Let’s PLEASE show some common sense and actually trust parents to do what is right for their children. What a mad idea that is…
We’ll be putting this proposed policy to a vote for Restore Britain members, and if it is ratified we will run a serious campaign on it.
